This tool enables you to perfectly square up the piston ring in the cylinder bore to accurately measure the gap when checking or filing rings. It will not scratch your bores or damage any other components. 

Precision manufactured from engineering grade PETG . This item is long lasting and fuel/oil / chemical resistant.
